“Nean's Gourmet Cookies” was an idea, turned into a dream, then a reality. It started as a way to achieve supplemental income to pay for my daughter’s sweet sixteen birthday weekend. Unemployed at the time, I wanted to give my only daughter the best and most memorable sweet sixteen that I could. I decided to make and sell homemade cookies and brownies at the university I was attending at that time. By the time I met my quota (about a month later) the results of my sales were unbelievably great! and the demand for my products was even greater! The demand completely outweighed the supply! I could not believe it! My customers would not let me discontinue selling! It was at that moment I realized I started something special. My dream of opening up my very own Cookie Shop was born that day. Today, ten years later, my dream and drive are just as strong.
